The Senior Buyer is responsible for ensuring excellence for day-to-day procurement activities, coordinating with multiple departments to source materials, services, and subcontractors.
Requirements
- Identify and qualify potential suppliers and subcontractors
- Understand and evaluate commercial specifications
- Work with the Quality Team to audit and qualify suppliers
- Solicit bids, evaluate quotations, select suppliers, and execute contracts
- Coordinate the scheduling and expediting of deliverables, services, and materials
- Maintain and manage relationships with suppliers
- Oversee warranty efforts, ensuring resolution of issues post-project completion
- Engage in continuous improvement efforts to enhance procurement processes and supplier relationships
- Manage changes in project scope, schedule, and deliverables
