Job Description
The Clinical Supervisor - RN is responsible for supervising RN's and LPN's, ensuring compliance with legislated standards and company policies, and providing leadership and support to the nursing team. The role involves engaging patients and staff in problem-solving, maintaining knowledge of changes in practice setting, and maintaining a safe and effective service.
Requirements
- Current RN registration with the Nova Scotia College of Nursing and entitled to practice without restrictions
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a practicing Registered Nurse
- Comprehensive patient health assessment skills
- Proven experience leading and managing a team
- Knowledge of clinical documentation standards and practice guidelines
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and teaching skills
