Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) will have scheduled visits within the community to care for patients in various settings with the support of RNs for more complex patients.
Requirements
- Nursing degree or required education mandatory for CNO licensure
- Registration with the CNO as a Registered Nurse in good standing
- Clear Vulnerable Sector Screen
- Negative TB Test
- Fluent proficiency in written and verbal English
- Valid driver's license (Class G or G2), access to a dedicated vehicle is required and valid car insurance
- Current and valid CPR certificate
- Experience in delivering community care is an asset
- Reliability and flexibility
- Willingness to travel to and from patient residences within a designated area
- Passion for making a difference in your community
- Required on-call coverage, including after hours to ensure patient safety and to meet patient care needs
