Engineering Manager - Merchant Experience / Gestionnaire, Ingénierie

Paramount Commerce is a fintech company looking for an Engineering Manager to lead their Merchant Experience engineering team in building robust, scalable, and intuitive systems for merchants.

Requirements

• 5+ years of software engineering experience
• Strong proficiency in Golang
• 3+ years leading engineering teams
• Deep understanding of distributed systems, scalability, and performance
• Experience designing and operating microservices, with a strong grasp of Event Sourcing
• Comfortable working in Kubernetes and modern cloud environments (AWS / GCP)
• Experience partnering closely with Product to own a domain end-to-end
• Hands-on when it matters, guiding design and architecture without micromanaging
• Strong judgment around trade-offs, balancing innovation with proven approaches
• Calm, confident, and collaborative, with strong opinions that are loosely held
• Customer minded, with care for how technical decisions impact real people
