Job Description
Paramount Staffing is seeking an experienced Insurance Defense/Workers’ Compensation Defense Paralegal to join a well-established insurance defense firm in Birmingham. The ideal candidate has 3+ years of experience in Workers’ Compensation defense and Insurance Defense, with strong knowledge of State Board of Workers’ Compensation procedures and excellent communication skills.
Requirements
- 3+ years of Workers’ Compensation defense experience
- 3+ years of Insurance Defense experience
- Strong knowledge of State Board of Workers’ Compensation procedures
- Experience drafting pleadings, motions, discovery responses, and correspondence
- Experience managing medical records and case summaries
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple files
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
- Experience with billing time!
