Staff Engineer

ParentSquare is a rapidly growing company changing the way schools and parents communicate. We're seeking a Staff Software Engineer with AI-forward expertise to lead technical development and improve the lives of students through communication.

Requirements

• Deep Technical Expertise in large-scale services using Ruby, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, and PHP
• Systems Mastery of distributed systems, relational databases (MySQL/Postgres), and AWS infrastructure (Aurora, RDS, SQS)
• AI-Native Workflow using AI to bypass boilerplate and focus on deep architectural work
• Collaborative Communicator to represent the engineering team in high-stakes discussions
• Education: Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Computer Science or a related field
