Surgical Technologist (CST), Methodist Hospital

Methodist Hospital is looking to hire a Surgical Tech (CST) to join our surgical team and help patients and their families receive quality care. The Surgical Tech will work autonomously and collaborate with a Registered Nurse to ensure excellent patient care. The position involves rotating weekends and call may be required on off shifts and weekends.

Requirements

• Must be certified through one of the following Surgical Technologist Certification Programs
• Practical knowledge of basic surgical instrumentation and equipment of orthopedic surgical procedures
• Demonstrated knowledge of the principles of aseptic technique and sterilization methods
• Demonstrated knowledge of age-related growth and development principles necessary to provide appropriate service and assure safety of patients
