Job Description
The Licensed Practical Nurse is a supervisory position that works under the guidance of the Registered Nurse, responsible for assessing, monitoring, implementing, evaluating, and documenting Resident care.
Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited School of Licensed Practical Nurses.
- Current Registration with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Alberta.
- Certified for administration of oral medications, narcotics, and subcutaneous injections.
- Completion of Physical Assessment Course.
- Intramuscular injection course and certification in CPR is preferred.
- RAI/MDS COMPETENCY IS REQUIRED
