Technical Lead (React/Next.js)

A fast-growing European technology company is hiring a Technical Lead to guide the evolution of a high-scale consumer-facing platform. The Technical Lead will be responsible for shaping and guiding the next phase of the front-end architecture, leading a transition to React and Next.js.

Requirements

• 15+ years of experience in software development
• 4+ years in a senior or staff-level role
• Deep hands-on experience with React and Next.js in production environments
• Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs and modern web architecture
• Proven ability to lead technical initiatives and drive long-term impact
• Track record of building responsive, performant, and accessible web applications
• Experience with performance optimization, SEO principles, and analytics tools (e.g., GA4)
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Collaborative, proactive, and able to navigate ambiguity in fast-paced environments
• Fluent in English
