Requirements
- Participate in customer planning sessions to define networking requirements
- Design and implement IPv4 network architectures, including subnetting and address allocation
- Configure and maintain network devices (routers, switches, firewalls) using industry-standard protocols and best practices
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot network services and applications on Linux-based systems
- Assist in designing and implementing approved networking and transport solutions aligned with longâterm IS goals
- Install and configure network equipment; provide support to systems administrators
- Monitor systems to improve network performance and lead troubleshooting efforts across local and external sites
- Apply DoD Information Assurance (IA) policies to the design and maintenance of communications solutions
- Manage and maintain a library of network engineering tools for system testing and diagnostics
- Apply advanced engineering principles to develop and maintain network standards, procedures, and guidelines
- Maintain current knowledge of networking security best practices and implement them across systems
- Produce documentation for installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and operator usage
- Contribute technical content and tutorials to product documentation
- Support Agile workflows (Jira, Confluence, GitLab)
- Provide onsite support in a classified environment (remote work limited to short-duration NIPR with sponsor approval)
