Network Engineer - TS/SCI

We are seeking a Network Engineer to design, implement, maintain, and support a growing network infrastructure in Hawaii. As part of our engineering team, you will be responsible for developing scalable, maintainable, and highly available network architectures that meet mission-critical requirements. This position is 100% onsite and based at Camp Smith, Hawaii.

Requirements

• Work directly with customers in a technical engineering role
• Participate in customer planning sessions to define networking requirements
• Design and implement communications solutions for field and remote locations supporting secure facility connectivity and cloud‐based data exchange
• Install and configure network equipment; provide support to systems administrators
• Monitor systems to improve network performance and lead troubleshooting efforts across local and external sites
• Apply DoD Information Assurance (IA) policies to the design and maintenance of communications solutions
• Manage and maintain a library of network engineering tools for system testing and diagnostics
• Apply advanced engineering principles to develop and maintain network standards, procedures, and guidelines
• Maintain current knowledge of networking security best practices and implement them across systems
• Produce documentation for installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and operator usage
• Contribute technical content and tutorials to product documentation
• Support Agile workflows (Jira, Confluence, GitLab)
• Provide onsite support in a classified environment (remote work limited to short-duration NIPR with sponsor approval)
