Parsons is seeking a Senior Environmental Engineer to lead and execute complex environmental engineering assignments, including remediation projects and treatment systems.
Requirements
- Leads and performs complex environmental engineering tasks and particularly important technical work efficiently and accurately.
- Plans, designs, and oversees soil, groundwater, surface water, and vapor intrusion remediation systems.
- Develops remedial action plans, feasibility studies, and design reports in accordance with federal, state, and local environmental regulations.
- Prepares construction drawings, specifications, and other materials suitable for procurement, permitting, and construction of remediation and environmental infrastructure projects.
- Provides technical guidance and mentorship to CAD Designer/Drafters, Designers, environmental staff, and junior Engineers working on the same projects.
- Ensures designs comply with applicable environmental regulations, industry standards, and Parsons’ quality and safety requirements.
- May be required to provide the seal and signature of the professional engineer, as appropriate, ensuring compliance with all applicable codes, regulations, and ordinances.
- May act in an advisory capacity to senior management on environmental and engineering-related matters, including risk, schedule, permitting, and constructability.
- Supports permitting, regulatory interactions, and preparation of technical presentations and client deliverables related to environmental and remediation projects.
- Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.
