Global Financial Controller

Our client's company is a purpose-led, Australian-founded homeware company that has built a global reputation for creating beautifully crafted products with sustainability at their core. We are seeking a Global Financial Controller to oversee global finance operations across Australia, the US, and Europe, ensuring compliance, operational excellence, and strategic financial governance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. CPA or equivalent professional qualification preferred (studying candidates considered).
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in finance leadership, financial control, or a related role in a global business context.
• Strong understanding of stock, inventory, or product-led business financial control, including stock tracking, purchasing, and system reconciliation.
• Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills; experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau) preferred.
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence, educate, and guide teams globally.
• Demonstrated adaptability, resilience, and strategic thinking in fast-paced, complex environments.
• Commitment to sustainability, ethical practices, and embedding purpose into financial operations.
