Job Description
Pattison Company is seeking a Heavy Equipment Diesel Mechanic to join our maintenance team in Clayton, Iowa. The position involves conducting inspections, diagnostic tests, and repairs on heavy equipment and machinery.
Requirements
- Must pass all DOT requirements, pre-employment physical exam, and drug test.
- Proficient in spoken and written English.
- Ability to work under pressure and pay close attention to detail.
- Physically capable of working 12-hour shifts, standing for 6-12 hours, lifting 60-80 lbs, climbing on and off equipment and ladders, and working at heights of 30–50 feet.
- Willing to work any assigned shift, including overtime, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
