As a Senior Experience Designer at Venmo, you'll craft end-to-end experiences for millions of users worldwide, working closely with product and engineering partners to deliver seamless, intuitive financial experiences.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience leading and shipping consumer mobile app experiences, with a strong track record of measurable impact.
- Comfort in operating in fast-paced, ambiguous environments, paired with excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Exceptional craft skills, including the ability to build realistic prototypes and work fluently with design systems, pattern libraries, repositories, and internal design tooling
- Deep understanding of product design methodologies and lifecycle, across multiple channels and platforms.
- User-centered mindset, with experience leveraging design research to uncover insights and inform decisions.
- Highly self-sufficient, able to manage design responsibilities independently and balance iterative exploration with milestone-driven delivery.
- General awareness of front-end technologies (JavaScript, HTML/CSS) and how they impact design implementation.
- Experience in fintech or financial products is a plus
