Job Description
The Sr Category Leader role is a critical leadership position within the Procurement organization at PBF Energy, responsible for developing and implementing enterprise-level category strategies for catalyst, process chemicals, and additives categories. The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of the oil and gas market, supplier ecosystem, and commercial drivers, and will be able to drive change, influence senior stakeholders, and contribute to procurement transformation.
Requirements
- Develop and maintain enterprise-wide category strategies that align with business goals for the assigned spend categories
- Analyze market trends and dynamics, commodity trends, competitor activities, and operational demand and activities across multiple refinery and field sites
- Collaborate cross-functionally with key stakeholders to align procurement strategies with business needs
- Manage the full category lifecycle, including supplier selection, negotiations, contracting, implementation, and performance management
