Seasonal Cooking Camp Instructor

Teach and lead PCC Cooking Classes for Kids’ and Teens’ Camp attendees, providing excellent customer service, teaching lesson plans, and creating a positive learning environment. Work part-time, 16-24 hours/week, from June 22nd to the end of August.

Requirements

• 1-2 years’ experience as a cooking class instructor.
• Two years’ experience in a related culinary field required.
• Available to work Monday through Friday throughout the summer camp season.
• Available a minimum of 8 of 10 weeks of the summer camp season.
• Demonstrated ability to multitask and problem solve in the moment, especially under pressure.
• Proven ability to convey information to a group in a fun and engaging way.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive customer service orientation toward staff and public.
• Experience working with kids and/or teens, preferably in an educational setting.
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel to PCC locations.
