Senior Coordinator Belt

We are seeking a Senior Belt Coordinator to join our production team at our Shoal Creek Mine in Alabama. The role involves maintaining a 14-mile belt system, managing manpower and equipment resources, and ensuring business goals are met in a safe and effective manner.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent degree
• Minimum of 10-12 years of underground coal mining belt system experience
• Minimum 10-12 years of supervisory experience
• Current electrical card preferred
• Alabama Mine Foreman Certification preferred
• High level of understanding MSHA regulations and Mechanical and Electrical Codes of Practice required
• Thorough knowledge of state and federal mining regulations
• Experience with Microsoft Office
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• Ability to communicate with personnel on shift and adjacent shifts
• Experience in Planning and Execution Techniques
• Knowledge of SAP and Kronos preferred
• Knowledge of conducting safety inspections and completing risk assessments
• PLC programming preferred
• Previous supervisor skills involving scheduling of manpower and equipment resources, and employee performance management
