We are seeking a Senior Belt Coordinator to join our production team at our Shoal Creek Mine in Alabama. The role involves maintaining a 14-mile belt system, managing manpower and equipment resources, and ensuring business goals are met in a safe and effective manner.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent degree
- Minimum of 10-12 years of underground coal mining belt system experience
- Minimum 10-12 years of supervisory experience
- Current electrical card preferred
- Alabama Mine Foreman Certification preferred
- High level of understanding MSHA regulations and Mechanical and Electrical Codes of Practice required
- Thorough knowledge of state and federal mining regulations
- Experience with Microsoft Office
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Ability to communicate with personnel on shift and adjacent shifts
- Experience in Planning and Execution Techniques
- Knowledge of SAP and Kronos preferred
- Knowledge of conducting safety inspections and completing risk assessments
- PLC programming preferred
- Previous supervisor skills involving scheduling of manpower and equipment resources, and employee performance management
