Job Description
Peak Energy is looking for a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to work on complex electro-mechanical designs of utility scale sodium-ion energy storage systems. The engineer will be responsible for mechanical system and component designs, working with other design, analysis, manufacturing and program teams.
Requirements
- Strong design ownership of Peak's High Voltage ESS mechanical systems
- Define product design direction
- Develop and manage sub-system and component requirements
- Interface with partners such as thermal and structural analysts
- Drive and participate in a culture of rapid prototyping and testing
- Support validation of Peak products from concept through field deployment
