The Inventory Manager will oversee and optimize inventory operations across one or more locations using NetSuite ERP, ensuring inventory accuracy, availability, and compliance while driving process improvements and operational efficiency.
Requirements
- Maintain accurate inventory records in NetSuite
- Own cycle counts, physical inventories, discrepancy reconciliation, and corrective actions
- Monitor and improve inventory KPIs such as accuracy, turnover, shrinkage, and aging
- Establish, enforce, and continuously improve inventory control policies, SOPs, and internal controls
- Serve as the NetSuite inventory subject-matter expert
- Manage inventory transactions including purchasing, receipts, transfers, adjustments, returns, and replenishment
- Configure and optimize NetSuite inventory functionality
- Develop dashboards, saved searches, and reports to support operational, financial, and audit requirements
- Partner with Finance and IT on inventory valuation, period close activities, audits, system enhancements, and integrations
- Analyze inventory levels to balance service levels, carrying costs, and working capital
- Drive strategies to reduce excess, obsolete, and slow-moving inventory
- Support forecasting, demand planning, and procurement alignment
- Identify and implement automation, efficiency improvements, and waste reduction opportunities
- Train and support team members and act as the escalation point for inventory system and process issues
