Job Description
PEAKE is a thriving small business seeking an experienced Network Installation Technician with expertise in installing CAT6 and Fiber Optic structured cable distribution systems. The role involves collaborating with network designers, engineers, and fellow technicians to execute key installation tasks and support mission-critical network infrastructure.
Requirements
- 7+ years relevant experience in CAT 6 and Fiber Optic structured cable distribution system installation
- Ability to terminate all forms of Ethernet and fiber by various methods
- Familiarity with connector types and manufacturers
- Experience testing single-mode and multi-mode fiber installations
- Experience with Fluke and OTDR testing and fiber optic troubleshooting
- Pulling cable, fire stopping, dressing cables, and labeling to industry standards
