Field Engineer In Training

PEG, LLC is a diverse energy efficiency, engineering, environmental and management consulting firm operating in the Eastern and Central United States. The company is seeking a motivated individual to become a certified HERS Rater and perform Home Energy Audits in accordance with RESNET Guidelines.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree or Vocational Certificate in the Skilled Trades Industry
• 2 years of work experience in HVAC, home remodeling, or construction (helpful)
• Physical ability to fulfill job functions, including lifting up to 50 lbs, carrying equipment, climbing ladders, work in confined spaces (attics/crawl spaces), and using small tools and testing equipment
• Personable, enthusiastic, well-groomed, articulate, and able to convey technical information in plain language
• Adaptable as audit/inspections will fluctuate with client construction schedules
• Organized, dependable, self-directed, and able to complete projects with limited supervision
• Valid driver's license in good standing with insurable driving record
• Reliable transportation and the ability to travel daily to job sites
• Willing to undergo a background check and/or drug testing, in accordance with local law/regulations
