In today's digital world, user-generated content (UGC) plays a crucial role in the success of websites and online communities. UGC includes all content created and published by users on platforms such as blogs, forums, social networks, and e-commerce websites. This content is often diverse and ranges from texts and images to videos and comments.
Managing and moderating UGC is a significant challenge. Manual processes are time-consuming and error-prone, leading to inefficient use of resources. Additionally, there is a risk that inappropriate or harmful content will be published, which can damage user trust and the reputation of the platform.

More information about the company
PEIQ, a company with locations in Augsburg and Bergkirchen, develops editorial systems for local newspapers as well as specialized products for capturing and exporting editorial articles from editors, freelancers, and so-called reader reporters. PEIQ is testing solutions with prototypes and selected pilot customers from the segment of local newspapers, which use AI support to combine text and image fragments to assist authors in creating their articles. The fragments are AI-assisted and presented to the author as a proposal. By greatly simplifying and accelerating the creation of content, the question of the quality and authenticity of the content created becomes a priority. The acquisition of authors, the quantity of content, and the examination of the quality of the content created represent a burden for local newspaper publishers, which should be reduced through technical support.
