The Trade Sales Consultant is responsible for building the Pella brand within the trade industry and achieving individual sales goals through a relational selling model. The primary duty is outside sales within their assigned market, with a focus on generating account growth and developing new business. The consultant must possess excellent customer service skills, be able to negotiate and build value, and have a strong work ethic.
Requirements
- Build strong customer relationships through a consultative sales approach
- Achieve individual sales and customer satisfaction goals and objectives
- Independently set their own work hours and manage their time effectively
- Travel to customer sites and attend company sponsored events
- Maintain expertise of products and services and stay abreast of the competitive landscape
- Collaborate with operations teams to ensure successful after-sale service requirements
- Interact with accounts receivable department to address billing/payment issues
