Summer Auto Mechanic Assistant

This is a seasonal position that provides routine support in the maintenance/repair of automotive and related equipment for the Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission. The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, and the applicant must be at least 18 years old and currently enrolled in a post-secondary accredited technical school for automotive technology or a related field.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent certification
• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age
• Must be currently enrolled in a second-year post-secondary accredited technical school for automotive technology, or related field
• OR Completion of a high school vocational program in automotive technology AND currently enrolled in a first-year post-secondary accredited technical school for automotive technology, or related field
• OR Recently graduated from a post-secondary accredited technical school for automotive technology or related field
• Possession of a valid driver’s license
