Summer Auto Mechanic Assistant

This is a seasonal position that assists mechanics in the repair of automotive equipment/vehicles and their components. Work is initially reviewed closely, and close supervision is received when new work processes or procedures are introduced, however, employees are expected to perform with limited guidance after the work process is learned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent certification
• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age
• Must be currently enrolled in a second-year post-secondary accredited technical school for automotive technology, or related field
• OR Completion of a high school vocational program in automotive technology AND currently enrolled in a first-year post-secondary accredited technical school for automotive technology, or related field
• OR Recently graduated from a post-secondary accredited technical school for automotive technology or related field
• Possession of a valid driver’s license
