The Penobscot Bay YMCA is seeking a responsible, organized, and energetic Camp Site Director to help lead a successful and engaging summer camp program.
Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- High school diploma or equivalent required; some college preferred
- Previous experience working with children (camp, childcare, coaching, education, etc.)
- Experience or interest in areas such as outdoor recreation, sports, arts & crafts, music, STEM, aquatics, or group games
- CPR, First Aid, AED, and Child Abuse Prevention certifications required (must be completed before or shortly after hire — training provided if needed)
- Demonstrated maturity, sound judgment, and the ability to create a safe, positive environment for all campers
