We're looking for a friendly, dependable, and organized Welcome Center Representative to create a positive first impression and connect with people at the YMCA community. This part-time role involves greeting members, answering questions, and helping to keep the facility running smoothly. You'll have the opportunity to build connections and play an important role in our community every day.
Requirements
- Provide excellent service to members, guests, and program participants
- Greet members as they arrive and depart, helping ensure everyone is checked in properly
- Get to know our members and help them feel connected to the Y and to each other
- Answer questions, help resolve concerns, and connect members with the right staff when needed
- Process membership payments, program registrations, and other transactions using our system
- Balance and close out your register at the end of your shift
- Answer calls, take messages, and help route questions to the appropriate team members
- Check the front desk email and assist with basic member communications
- Help with simple administrative tasks such as membership mailings or filing
- Keep the front desk and lobby area clean, organized, and welcoming
