Scientific Affairs Vendor Management Lead

Role Overview

You will manage the contracting process for global vendors and consultants across Scientific Affairs (SA) by driving the contracting process, invoice and accrual management. Provide process support to Scientific Affairs by managing audit responses, process / SOP development and process updates utilizing systems in use within the Company. Provide leadership and strategic direction to the Vendor Management group within Scientific Affairs.

What You Will Do

Manage Requests for Information (RFI) and Requests for Proposal (RFP) activities in Scientific Affairs and support contract negotiations with vendors. Financial administration; monitoring invoice payments, raising purchase requisitions (PR) & eCAFs for approval and uploading these into the finance system.

Why It Might Be a Fit

Previous experience managing external vendors to deliver outsourced activities efficiently and effectively OR experience of working in a Pharmaceutical environment. Good understanding of the structure of a pharmaceutical company and clear understanding of the activities within Scientific Affairs.
