English Language Teacher - Pera, Istanbul

We are seeking an experienced English Language Teacher to join our team in Istanbul. You will support a newly established LANGUAGECERT initiative aimed at raising English language proficiency in Greek schools in Istanbul, planning and delivering interactive lessons for students ranging from young learners to teenagers and preparing learners for internationally recognized LANGUAGECERT certifications.

Requirements

• Plan and deliver interactive, engaging lessons for a variety of age groups and proficiency levels
• Design activities and work with materials that promote communicative and authentic language use
• Assess student needs and learning styles to tailor instruction accordingly
• Monitor, evaluate, and document student progress through regular assessments, quizzes, and feedback sessions
• Prepare students for international English language certification exams by LANGUAGECERT, including practice tests and exam strategies
• Maintain accurate records of student attendance, performance, and development
• Provide constructive feedback to students and maintain regular communication with learners and parents
• Collaborate with colleagues from LANGUAGECERT to fine-tune curriculum materials and share best practices
• Participate in staff meetings, professional development sessions, and school events
