Job Description
Pepper Construction is a national general contracting and construction management firm seeking a Human Resource Business Partner to deliver HR services to the Barrington office. The role requires partnering with employees at all levels, flexibility in a dynamic environment, clear communication, and a commitment to supporting people and advancing the company culture.
Requirements
- Serve as the first point of contact for employees in the Barrington office
- Partner with leaders to implement aligned talent management strategies
- Ensure a smooth, engaging onboarding experience
- Collaborate with the Marketing team to support internal communications
- Work closely with the Learning & Development team to coordinate and support local training initiatives
- Partner with the Recruiting team to ensure a strong, positive candidate experience
- Support and continuously enhance the onboarding process for new hires
- Work with HR peers across geographic subsidiaries to align and uphold companywide policies and procedures
- Assist with planning and coordinating company-sponsored events and activities
- Bachelor's degree in human resources or business-related degree
- 5+ years' experience in the Human Resource
- PHR and/or SHRM-CP certification preferred
