Cybersecurity Instructor (Continuous)

Per Scholas is seeking a dynamic Cyber Security Instructor to lead technical training for Per Scholas students, preparing them for entry-level tech jobs. The role involves a 15-week curriculum on topics like hardware, software, networking, and security, with a focus on practical hands-on laboratory activities. Per Scholas is a nationwide training organization focused on empowering individuals through tech skills.

Requirements

• Expert-level knowledge and experience in server management, hardware, software, networking, mobility, virtualization, project management, and security
• Network+ CompTIA Security+ certified; CCNA, CISSP SANS, Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) are strongly desired
• Must be CompTIA CYSA+ certified or able to earn the certificate within 30 days of hire
• Proficient in TCP/IP networking and networking protocols
• Familiarity with Linux, Windows Server Environments, Firewalls, Intrusion Detection and Prevention Systems, Penetration Testing and Vulnerability Assessment is required
• At least two years of professional experience in the tech industry in a security role
