Job Description
Join PerkinElmer as a Field Application Scientist to provide scientific support to customers and internal sales teams. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver customer trainings, demos, and product positioning. Strong scientific knowledge and communication skills required.
Requirements
- Ph.D. in Molecular Biology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, or related life sciences discipline
- 3-5 years of hands-on laboratory experience in academic or industry research environments
- Foundational understanding of Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) technologies, Proteomics, and DNA/RNA preparation workflows
- Hands-on experience with NGS library preparation, biomolecule extraction, and DNA sequence analysis tools and bioinformatics workflows
