Job Description
Provide system support to a software development program, including setup, configuration, and software installation for development, test, and production systems. Interface with development teams and end users.
Requirements
- Minimum Five years’ experience with installation, maintenance, administration, and trouble shooting of LAN, WAN, computer hardware and software
- Experience with Linux System administration to include RPM install/upgrade, starting/stopping/monitoring services, and familiarity with Kickstart procedures
- Experience performing, and assisting with, equipment specification, setup, problem resolution, network support, etc., related to computer hardware and software
- Experience ensuring licensing agreements and system currency
- Experience with Unix administration
- Knowledge of performance tuning
- Understanding of security hardening procedures and implementation
- Experience scripting common SA functions
- Experience with VMWare and configuring virtual machines
