Aseptic Production Lead

Role Overview

The Aseptic Production Lead will be responsible for leading the shop floor and coordinating daily activities to meet production schedule attainment. They will assist, train, and perform line duties as required, promote teamwork, and a positive work environment. The role requires a strong understanding of aseptic behaviors, SOPs, and cGMPs.

What You Will Do

The Aseptic Production Lead will be responsible for monitoring training requirements, recommending training, and ensuring employees perform jobs correctly. They will also be responsible for promoting a 'Right the First Time' culture, operating in a safe manner, and elevating safety issues and concerns. Additionally, they will serve as a mentor and trainer for Filling Operators, ensure batch-related documentation and inventory transaction consumption are complete and accurate, and oversee documentation within their area of responsibility.

Why It Might Be a Fit

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of production, manufacturing, or operations-related experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and basic math and reading comprehension skills. They will also have effective leadership skills, be able to gown aseptically, and retain certification. Bonus points will be given for a bachelor's degree, experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing, and strong technical skills.

Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) equivalent
• 3+ years of production, manufacturing, or operations-related experience
• Completed or willing to complete Certified Trainer course
• Experience interacting with regulatory agencies is strongly preferred
• Effective Leadership Skills – Work with integrity, inspire others, and is accountable
• Must have basic math and reading comprehension skills; perform unskilled work and follow detailed instructions
• Must be able to gown aseptically and retain certification
• Under the guidance of management, must be able to lead and direct others to ensure the work gets done and operational goals are met
• Experience multi-taking and managing project with an established timeline
• Must be able to communicate effectively (written and verbal) with all line personnel to meet all operational goal
