Manager Automation Engineer

Role Overview

As Manager Automation Engineer, you will play a critical role in the management of manufacturing information systems to improve manufacturing success rates and ensure zero downtime. You will work with Pfizer's dynamic engineering team to prepare forecasts for resource requirements, provide areas of improvement for products, processes, or services, and advance new concepts and methodologies.

What You Will Do

Your responsibilities will include following standard operating procedures, generating and executing GMP verification protocols, developing new and existing standard operating procedures and programming guidelines, identifying and implementing new technologies, and leading the specification and procurement of new highly automated manufacturing equipment.

Requirements

• HS Diploma with ten years of relevant experience; OR an Associate's degree with eight years of experience; OR a Bachelor’s degree with at least five years of experience; OR a Master’s degree with more than three years of experience; OR a Ph.D. with 0-2 years of experience
• Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams
• Good organizational skills and proficiency in meeting project deadlines
• Proven ability to work in team environment and contribute as a team member
• Ability to learn new technologies and adapt to change
• Ability to communicate technical issues to management and customers in an effective and understandable manner
• Experience with writing software test plans, user requirements, and system design documents
• Experience with Industrial Control Systems such as Rockwell, Siemens, Wonderware, iFix
• Strong knowledge of Computerized Systems, compliance regulations, and standards
• Excellent interpersonal effectiveness and communication soft skills
