Job Description
The Construction Instructor (Civil + Commercial) (Part-Time) is a hands-on instructional role where students learn by doing in a real-world construction environment. The instructor will integrate essential employability skills into training, ensuring students develop the technical expertise, work ethic, and professional habits necessary for success.
Requirements
- Ability to obtain a Valid Indiana Workplace Specialist License, or eligibility based on 3–5 years of construction industry experience
- Strong working knowledge of construction fundamentals across both civil and commercial environments
- Demonstrated ability to teach and supervise students in hands-on training settings
- Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills
- Ability to build trust with students and support career decision-making
- Ability to develop and maintain employer relationships
