Job Description
The Petaluma Health Center is seeking a Bilingual Psychiatrist to provide high-quality psychiatric services within a compassionate and patient-centered environment. The position involves clinical assessments, treatment via medication management, consultation with primary care providers, triage of patients, collaboration with other healthcare professionals, and participation in strategic initiatives. The role offers flexible schedule including after-hour and weekend work.
Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited medical school
- Board Certified MD/DO with current California License and DEA
- Three or more years’ experience psychiatric care in a clinic setting preferred
- State of California Physician and Surgeons license
- Board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry
- Must maintain CME as required for certification renewals
- Must be CPR Certified
- Ability to meet PHC’s credentialing and privileging requirements
- Linguistic proficiency in Spanish
