The Medical Assistant 1 ensures optimum patient care through the efficient rooming of patients, exhibiting good communication with patients and other staff, performing medical procedures, providing patient education, follow-up care instructions, and completing daily documentation.

Requirements

• Satisfactory completion of an accredited medical assistant program in California
• State MA Certification (preferred)
• Injection certifications and/or competency
• Current BLS certification
