Job Description
Prior Authorization Specialist needed to ensure patients' medication adherence by verifying insurance coverage, submitting prior authorizations, and providing phone and email support. A ground floor opportunity with a fast-growing health-tech startup.
Requirements
- Proven team player with problem-solving skills
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated experience in prior authorizations, medical insurance billing, and/or health insurance
- Working knowledge of ICD-10 codes and prescription drug names (preferred)
- Ability to navigate multiple systems and software
- Customer service experience (preferred)
- Reliable transportation and ability to work in office
