2.6. Engineering Technician

Phoenix Tailings is a rapidly-growing clean mining and metals production startup seeking an experienced Engineering Technician to support the design, assembly, installation, and maintenance of manufacturing equipment. The ideal candidate will have a solid engineering background, hands-on experience in electro-mechanical systems, and strong ability to troubleshoot, optimize, and improve manufacturing equipment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Associate’s degree or technical certificate in electro-mechanics, industrial technology, engineering technology, or a related field (preferred)
• 3+ years of experience in engineering support, machine assembly, or equipment installation, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment
• Strong understanding of electro-mechanical systems
• Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics
• Strong troubleshooting skills
• Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
• Ability to work independently and lead by example
• Strong communication skills
