Job Description
The Substation Foreman is responsible for supervising, assigning, and coordinating substation construction and maintenance activities to ensure a productive workforce that supports divisional, departmental, site, and corporate goals. The role requires 8-9 years of continuous experience and 5 years as Top Substation Technician A craft position.
Requirements
- Supervise, assign, and coordinate substation construction and maintenance activities
- Direct work and provide technical assistance to subordinates and craft employees
- Identify, track, and report completed job units to Project Manager or General Foreman
- Participate in job estimation and attend pre-bid meetings
- Conduct client pre-construction meetings
- Responsible for safety and work quality of crew
