Job Description
This on-call Relief Recovery Specialist position provides intensive treatment and support to 50 homeless men with a history of chronic substance abuse. The role involves conducting searches, assisting with drug testing, responding to emergencies, and assisting with daily client services. The position is essential in case of emergencies and requires a team player.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or G.E.D
- CPR/First Aid and CPI certification or ability to obtain within 30 days
- Knowledge of a professional Code of Ethics
- Knowledge of confidentiality and HIPAA laws
- Excellent critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Understanding of substance abuse and mental health issues
