High School Social Studies Teacher

Pinon Unified School District is seeking a High School Social Studies Teacher to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing quality education to high school students and ensuring their academic success.

Requirements

• Hold a valid Arizona Department of Education State Teaching Certification in secondary education
• Bachelor's Degree in a Social Studies related content area
• Master's Degree is preferred to meet requirements for Dual Enrollment College Courses
• Demonstrated knowledge of Common Core State Standards and proficiency in standards-based instruction
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Strong classroom management skills
• Ability to use technology to enhance instruction and student learning
• Experience working with students from diverse backgrounds
