Activities Assistant

This role assists the Life Enrichment Coordinator by providing activities for residents, adhering to facility guidelines, and maintaining operational standards. The position requires a commitment to human-centered care, communication skills, and the ability to adapt to a variety of tasks. It involves interacting with residents, managing volunteer teams, and contributing to the facility's overall operations.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED certificate
• Six months of experience working with the elderly or long-term population
• Ability to speak, read, write, and follow oral and written directions in English
• Possess patience, tact, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude toward the elderly
• Able to lift 50 lbs without assistance
• Valid Arizona driver’s license and pass background check
