Job Description
Pivotal, a leader in electric Vertical Takeoff and Landing (eVTOL) aircraft, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced GNC Engineer to contribute to the development of their eVTOL aircraft. This role involves requirements definition, algorithm implementation, system integration, verification, data analysis, safety compliance, documentation, and mentoring. The company is reviewing applications for future opportunities and encourages those passionate about eVTOL technology to apply, even if the timing isn’t perfect.
Requirements
- 4+ years of professional experience
- Masters or PhD in related engineering discipline (Aerospace, Mechanical, etc)
- Knowledge and experience in flight dynamics and classical flight control methods
- Proven experience in designing and developing GNC systems for aircraft
- Proficiency in MATLAB, Simulink, C/C++
- Knowledge of relevant industry standards, regulations, and safety protocols
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative start-up environment
