Animal Services Program Coordinator

Requirements

• Supervise volunteers working varied schedules
• Recruit, train, assign, and direct the work of volunteer staff
• Provide information to the public regarding volunteer programs, adoption programs, pet ownership and access to care programs
• Supervise clerical staff
• Oversee and support the foster care program
• Assist with community education and outreach programs
• Help with social media outreach and marketing of adoptable animals
• Assist with rescue outreach and coordination for animals needing specialized placement
• Work with the Animal Care Supervisor to carry out animal behavior modification plans
• Utilize the shelter’s volunteer management software
