Senior Organizational Development Manager (f/m/d)

As a Senior Organizational Development Manager at Plancraft, you will drive strategy and execution of organizational development initiatives, translate strategic direction into actionable solutions, and operate and improve core people and org systems. You will also collaborate with People & Business Operations functions and leadership to ensure smooth execution and high P&O data quality. The ideal candidate has a strong organizational development foundation, strong process and systems thinking, and experience with people systems at an admin/builder level.

Requirements

• 5+ years in a highly generalistic role (e.g., Founder’s Associate, Chief of Staff, Strategy & Ops with strong P&O touchpoints) or a dedicated OD / HR Strategy / Transformation role with broad exposure.
• Strong organizational development foundation or equivalent experience in designing, structuring, operationalizing, and scaling org-wide initiatives end to end.
• Strong process and systems thinking; able to turn strategy, qualitative signals, and data into scalable frameworks, workflows, and enablement that consistently enable the organization.
• High ownership, strong attention to detail, and a structured, analytical way of working, with pragmatic follow-through in ambiguous situations.
• Strong stakeholder management and facilitation skills; comfortable working closely with leadership while staying execution-focused.
• Hands-on experience with people systems at an admin / builder level.
• Strong affinity for data, documentation, and tooling (e.g., Notion, Slack, Sheets, AI tools).
• Motivation to work on high-impact, complex organizational topics with high execution excellence.
• Excellent communication skills both verbally and in writing in German & English (C1/C2 level).
• Experience working in a startup/scale-up/growth-stage environment.
• If not based in Hamburg, open to come to our Hamburg HQ regularly (minimum 1x/quarter, preferred 1x/month).
