Senior Product Manager

Planet is seeking a Senior Product Manager to bridge the gap between Planet’s platform capabilities and customer outcomes. The role will require identifying high-value market problems, working with Engineering to decompose them into scalable technical building blocks, and ensuring prioritization of opportunities with significant market size.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in product management, ideally within Earth Observation or geospatial analytics.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Experience launching'solution' products (bundles of data, analytics, and services) rather than just standalone features.
• Ability to translate complex vertical needs into clear engineering tasks and user outcomes.
• Solid understanding of vertical market dynamics (e.g., government procurement, supply chains) and experience assessing market size/viability.
• Managing end-to-end product lifecycles and navigating ambiguity in fast-paced environments.
