Technical Accounting and SEC Reporting Analyst

Planet is seeking an experienced Technical Accounting and SEC Reporting Analyst to support the financial reporting process and develop accounting policies and procedures. The role will work closely with cross-functional teams and external auditors to ensure accuracy, compliance, and transparency in financial reporting. This is a full-time, hybrid role that requires working from the San Francisco office 3 days per week.

Requirements

• 2+ years of accounting experience, in a financial reporting or Big 4 Accounting Firm Audit role
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or other quantitative major
• Deep knowledge of US GAAP and experience with technical accounting research
• Proficiency with accounting systems (NetSuite and Workiva / DFIN ActiveDisclosure preferred) and Excel
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex accounting concepts to non-accounting stakeholders
